Jessica Peterson has been with DePaul
University since 2009. In her current role as marketing communications specialist, Jessica supports the vice president and his cabinet with internal
and external executive communications, supports the 14 departments in the
division in developing communications and communications
plans, and is responsible for the quarterly external newsletter,
the internal divisional newsletter, and other divisional publications.
Jessica also creates and edits website content.
Before assuming her role as the marketing communications
specialist, Jessica was the communications coordinator for the division of
Student Affairs, and prior to that, she was a pediatric speech-language
pathologist in schools and clinics in the Chicago area.
Jessica was honored with the Division of Student Affairs Collaboration Award and the Adult, Veteran and Commuter Student Affairs Outstanding Adult Student Service Award, both in 2016.
Jessica earned an MA in organizational communication from DePaul, an MA in communication sciences and disorders
from Northwestern University and her BA in communications from DePaul.
