Alyssa Rickman joined the Office of Health Promotion and Wellness in December 2016 as the Health Promotion Coordinator, responsible for coordinating programming and communications that promote holistic wellness for students.
Her background with health and wellness includes creating and evaluating culturally relevant nutrition programs for youth and researching the association between physical health and mental health. She believes that holistic wellness is at the core of living a fulfilled life, and hopes to embolden others to thrive physically, emotionally and spiritually.
Alyssa earned her MS in international public service from DePaul University and BA in psychology from Spring Arbor University. Alyssa is currently enrolled in the masters of public health program at DePaul.
