Alyssa Rickman is a Health Promotion Coordinator who works with university students and community members to help them discover how their personal goals and social privileges can help them connect with and influence the people around them. Alyssa believes that our individual success is intricately tied to those in our community, and that true prosperity comes when all people of every race and ethnicity are given equal access to opportunity. Alyssa has worked locally and globally to promote health equity in the United States, El Salvador, and Guatemala. Alyssa is trained in peer education, program development, health communication, management, nutrition curriculum development, sexual and relationship violence prevention, and is DePaul University’s 2018 Supervisor of the Year. Alyssa holds a BA in psychology from Spring Arbor University, and a MS in international public service and MA in public health from DePaul University.
