Changes to 11th floor of DePaul Center, Loop Student Center are complete

Reconfiguration increases student access to programs, services and events

The 11th floor of the DePaul Center has undergone some significant changes this summer.  Student Affairs, who occupies a good deal of space on the 11th floor, installed new signage and digital boards, expanded the hours of the Student Resource Center, converted office space into student study rooms and converted the Student Involvement office (11027) into a student lounge and programming space.  In addition, the Loop Dean of Students office has  moved from the 11th floor of the  DePaul Center to the Office of the Vice President for Student Affairs in Lewis 1400.

An AV cart is available for use in the student study rooms to support  group work for up to five students per room. Students can reserve the study rooms at http://libcal.depaul.edu/booking/loop. The Student Resource Center is staffed from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Fridays.

The reconfiguration and extended hours make the Student Resource Desk more visible and expand support for students in the Loop looking for information on programs, services and events at the university.
