Bernard Little joined DePaul University in October 2016 as the assistant dean of students in the Dean of Students Office. In his role, Bernard assists students by offering resources and services during times of crisis or when they are in great need. His work centers around advocacy and providing help to ensure that students' time at DePaul is positive, and that they leave feeling supported.
Prior to DePaul, Bernard served in a number of professional positions at three other institutions which include the University of Illinois at Chicago, the University of Chicago and the University of Richmond. Bernard worked in a variety of Student Affairs roles, including Student Involvement, Commuter Student Engagement, Multicultural Affairs, Orientation and New Student Programs, Housing and Residence Life and the Dean of Students office.
Bernard received his BS in communication from Bowling Green State University (go Falcons!) and an MS in college student personnel from Miami University.
