Dan Paul Borlik is a Catholic priest (Vincentian) who joined DePaul University in August 2017 as a university minister in Catholic Campus Ministry. As priest chaplain he celebrates the sacraments, offers spiritual companionship, reaches out to faculty and staff to support and help integrate the Vincentian mission, supervises various student leaders and acts as the volunteer coordinator of the St. Elizabeth Seton Soup and Sandwich Kitchen.
Ordained for over forty years, Fr. Dan has ministered as a high-school teacher and dean, a missionary pastor in northern Guatemala to more than forty rural communities, as urban pastor in a bi-lingual Holy Trinity Parish in Dallas, Texas, as provincial superior of the Southern Province, and most recently as director of the Vincentians’ international ongoing education center in Paris, France.
Fr. Dan received his MDiv in theology from DeAndreis Theologate in 1976 and his DMin in theological method from Catholic Theological Union in 1999.
