Affinity Groups are designed to make it possible for faculty across units with common and complementary interests to find each other, learn about one another’s work, and share ideas, resources, and inspiration. Participation in Affinity Groups may be as minimal as posting a brief bio and contact info on these pages or it can be a means of finding potential partners for innovative and collaborative research, scholarship, creative ideas, instructional design, and teaching.

For anyone whose work intersects with the wide range of disciplines, fields, and professions associated with health. The Chicago Health Initiatives at DePaul (CHID)​ has numerous alliances with community partners as well as a strong commitment to health studies across the university.

For anyone whose work engages the vast range of approaches to the quantitative or qualitative analysis of all varieties of data.

For anyone whose work addresses the city of Chicago as a living laboratory for research, scholarship, teaching, curriculum, and creative activities.

China-DePaul Alliance 

For anyone who is interested in collaborating on China-related research projects, teaching, curriculum development, cultural initiatives, and international or commmunity outreach.
