​On a monthly basis Academic Administration and Academic Fiscal Administration together convene the Academic Budget Manager Group, composed of the financial/business professionals from across the academic enterprise.  

These monthly group meetings serve as opportunities for academic fiscal managers to: 

  • network
  • transfer knowledge of best practices 
  • stay abreast of various matters such as policy and procedures activity, new services and financial processes throughout the fiscal year.  

To ensure relevancy of agenda topics and to support various business cycle demands, agenda topics and ideas are solicited at the close of each meeting for the group's future meetings.  Routinely, institutional subject-matter experts are invited to present special topics and to provide briefings related to new or changed policies and procedures as well as services.
