University Information

Many areas of DePaul provide information, announcements, and events that continue to be of interest to retirees. Keep up to date by visiting these sites:

The Human Resources web site includes specific information on retiree benefits, as well as university-wide information on health fairs, investment counseling sessions and other important news items. They also provide an online directory of HR staff contact information.

As a university retiree, you still are eligible for many of the same discounts and reduced rates as current faculty and staff. This site lists over 30 opportunities for retirees to save on events and services associated with DePaul. Under the “Discounts by Group” heading on the left is a listing of retiree eligible discounts.

Newsline, the university’s publication for faculty and staff, is a primary source of university news and events for all areas of the university. Check back often for photos, calendar of events, campus and facility updates, and various programming news.

DePaul University President, Dr. A. Gabriel Esteban, Ph.D , continues to post and archive on his site many communiqués and addresses he has shared, remarking on the accomplishments and challenges that face the university. You will also find photos, updates on Vision TWENTY18, the Lincoln Park master plan, and other information about the Office of the President.

In addition to the president’s web site are e-mail announcements that are directed to current faculty, staff, and students, and may not always reach retirees.

Information on annual special events that many retirees continue to enjoy can be found on the Special Events web site. These include the 25 Year Club Luncheon, Service Awards Luncheon, and Annual Picnic.
