St. Vincent de Paul Parish is the location for Christmas at DePaul. It is located at:

The donations you bring to Christmas at DePaul benefit St. Vincent’s Food Pantry and Sandwich Window. Beginning in 1980, the Food pantry has offered assistance to working poor families, parents of young children, and the elderly, among others.

  • 39% if the households who receive food include at least one employed adult
  • About 10% of the people served are children under 18
  • 65% are 65 and older
  • 25% of households have at least one family member in poor health
  • 10% own the place where they live
  • 9% are homeless

During the year, parishioner volunteers will serve over 30,000 sandwiches, about 1,000 special holiday meals, and 45,000 cups of coffee. The number of households the Food pantry serves is 110 households per month, with 160 individuals; 1800 per year.


The fourth annual Christmas at DePaul will take place at St. Vincent de Paul Parish located on the Lincoln Park Campus. The church is located at the intersection of Sheffield Avenue and Webster Avenue.

Parking for this event will be available in the two parking garages located on the DePaul University Lincoln Park Campus. The first is near the corner of Sheffield and Fullerton. The garage is just south of Fullerton behind the Dominicks grocery store. The second garage is located near the corner of Clifton and Belden Avenue.

Rapid Transit Lines
Three rapid transit train lines service the Lincoln Park area and DePaul's Lincoln Park campus. Exit at the Fullerton station. After coming down the steps, turn west and walk two blocks to Kenmore Avenue. These are the train lines servicing the Lincoln Park campus:

Purple Line (Evanston Express)
Brown Line (Ravenswood)

You may transfer to these lines from all other train lines in most downtown stations.
