At this time, the lab and classroom computers Information Services manages will continue using Windows 7. Information Services has proposed upgrading the labs and classrooms to Windows 10 for the fall quarter of 2018.

Will software that works on Windows 7 or Windows 8.1 work on Windows 10?

Software and hardware compatible with Windows 7 and Windows 8.1 are most likely compatible with Windows 10. Information Services anticipates the support of Windows 7 until 2019 as long as it is running on compatible hardware. Customers are encouraged to upgrade to Windows 10 to take advantage of the newer features provided.
