Cara Miller Brytan

  • ​Cara Miller Brytan​ is the Study Abroad Advisor for Term-Long programs in Asia, Australia and Europe (Belgium, France, Germany, Greece and Ireland). Cara has been traveling the world since 2003; encouraging others to study, work and volunteer abroad. At DePaul University, Cara received a Bachelor’s degree in Secondary Education and a Master’s from School for International Training (SIT Graduate Institute) in Intercultural Service, Leadership and Management. Cara garnered professional experience teaching in Chicago Public Schools, leading high school and university-level student groups to France, Spain and Italy; and working at the Australian Embassy in Washington D.C as well as the Australian Consulate in Chicago as a Public Diplomacy Officer.  In 2011, Cara left the political sector to return to her alma mater, in order to work with the International Programs Office at DePaul University. Now, she is a part of the Global Engagement team, currently serving as a Study Abroad Advisor. She enjoys assisting students, parents and faculty in pursuing all things study abroad!​
