In her role as Associate General Counsel, Marina advises DePaul on matters relating to admissions, student accounts, financial aid, immigration, experiential education, diversity, public policy, and bankruptcy.  Marina also oversees Clery Act compliance, the university’s contract review process, and handles requests relating to wage deductions and subpoenas.  Before joining the OGC, Marina was a general litigation associate with the Chicago law firm of Sidley Austin LLP, where she concentrated on government investigations and complex commercial litigation.  Prior to her time at Sidley, Marina completed a year-long fellowship as the inaugural GE Transportation Denniston Legal Fellow.  Marina graduated magna cum laude and Order of the Coif from ​DePaul University College of Law, where she also served as an editor on the Law Review.
