Darryl Arrington is the assistant vice president for the Center for Access and Attainment (CAA). In this role, Darryl provides oversight for the university TRIO programs, Enrollment Management's community outreach initiatives, and partnerships with Chicago's public and Catholic schools. CAA supports divisional thinking and strategy concerning access for students in general and first generation and low-income students, in particular.
Darryl has over 25 years of experience in higher education with student retention programs, project management, grant budget management, and developing internal and external strategic partnerships. He has managed various areas in both DePaul’s Student Affairs and Enrollment Management divisions. Darryl has been an active leader in the DePaul community promoting the Vincentian mission and working to address issues of diversity and inclusion.
Darryl is a Double Demon with a bachelor’s degree in social science and a master’s degree in public service management. He serves on the board of the Illinois Student Assistance Commission and is also a member of the Council for Opportunity in Education (COE).
