With more than 1,500 books available, the
Office of Multicultural Student Success (OMSS)'s Book Loan Library helps defer the cost of textbooks for students using this service. Students can borrow any textbook in the OMSS library free of charge for an entire quarter. To borrow a textbook, students must:
- Visit the Lincoln Park office in the Student Center, suite 105, present a student ID and provide basic contact information so that OMSS may notify them in advance of any due dates for book returns.
- Supply the OMSS front desk staff with as much information as possible for your course textbooks including the title, author, and edition.
- In order to provide the latest editions of various textbooks, OMSS asks students to donate books and the end of each quarter in which they have borrowed a book. The Book Loan service is available beginning the first day of classes for the Autumn, Winter, and Spring Quarters during normal office hours from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday – Friday.
