Community Resources

At DePaul, we understand a number of events and conditions can get in the way of student progress and success. Staff in University Counseling and Psychological Services, the Dean of Students Office, and the Office of Health Promotion and Wellness can refer to students to community resources for:

  • Healthcare
  • Trauma survivor care
  • Substance abuse recovery
  • Housing assistance

The Dean of Students Office has built and maintains alliances and relationships with a variety of external partners and community agencies that can offer support in the following specific areas:

  • Affordable, emergency and short-term housing solutions
  • Food insecurity (food pantries)
  • Short-term financial instability
  • Medical, dental and mental health referrals
DePaul also offers the Rosalie Rendu Student Pantry on the Lincoln Park campus for students experiencing food insecurity. It also provides toiletries and professional clothing. Visit the pantry web page to learn more.
