Engage International Students in the Classroom

Our international students play an important role in internationalizing our campus and educational experience by adding diverse perspectives and enhancing intercultural awareness.

We are pleased to support our faculty in identifying new ways to encourage engagement in the classroom, through consultation, occasional workshops or panels, and by sharing best practices or examples that may help. Faculty can also explore a variety of resources on cultural assumptions, second language acquisition, and inclusive teaching and learning practices on our “Teaching in a Global Classroom” section on DePaul’s Teaching Commons website.

For more information on how we can help, contact Kari Costello, assistant vice president for Global Engagement.
